A hidden gem in Corning, New York right off Market Street is The Rockwell Museum. It is nationally-recognized for its collection and growth of educational outreach initiatives.

Currently, there is a show on loan from the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery - Yousuf Karsh: American Portraits. Walking among the great icons is a step back in time, and sharing them with the younger generation is a lesson better than from a history book.

Here's my favorite historical hero- Winston Churchill.
